I do agree, I think churches waste so much money in stupid places. I also think a huge problem with new install is that the consultants, and AV companie leave out the TD in all the conversations. I see that happen way too offten, it just happened to me at my church. We are in our 3rd week in our new sanctuary and all I'm doing with my 40hours is fixing problems (RF, video, power...) GET THE TD INVOLVED!! He knows the needs of the church more then your pastor... Or what have you.

Anthony is a very smart man, he really knows his stuff and God has gifted him! I had the pleasure of attending one of his seminars and was blessed.
Thank you for sharing this, it's a subject that hit right at home.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, Mike. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with y'all at WFX. You have a wonderful heart & a very sharp mind for technology in church.

Please continue to share. You're a treasure for the Church.

Mike,

This is on my mind constantly. A friend of mine heads the San Diego office for a large A/V and acoustic design firm. He and I have had many conversations about this very subject. He has taken it to the next level by trying to inform the architects so that even when the client doesn't think about the acoustics and a/v the architect will. Good post. Something everyone needs to hear.
