JR—
That's what I thought was going to happen, but for some reason, at least on the T-80 they had set up at the show, it didn't work. It's entirely possible there was a configuration problem, or someone messed it up while playing with it.

Thanks for the tip, though!

Mike,

JR described it perfectly on how the screen and universal encoder works.

The iLive T112 really is intuitive and a great surface control. If you're ever up in the Chicago area, let me know & I'll give you the run down. We're had ours since 8/09 and love it. Myself & the volunteers who went to the Yamaha 1 day training feel it is by far a more intuitive and more capable console than the M7. More inputs & outputs, and more flexibility for the price.

Just wanted to let you know that I use the Allen & Heath I-Live and when you select a part of the dynamics you would like to manipulate, the universal encoder at the bottom right of the screen controls it. Actually that encoder controls any specific element you have selected and are trying to manipulate, you can use it to change the controls of an individual eq band.
