		<description>I agree wholeheartedly.

If the musician doesn&#039;t trust the FOH, he&#039;ll crank his guitar level when the solo hits.  Frustrating for the FOH guy.  If the FOH over time learns to not trust the guitarist as a result, the FOH is likely to pull down a level of future solos when a guest guitarist steps in.  Building trust is the first step.

And I&#039;ll add...

The FOH engineer needs to be publicly and privately valued as part of the entire team.  The FOH engineer is the mix musician ... the most important musician.  Until musicians (like me) will understand this is the most important sonic role, the relationships off stage will be undervalued.</description>
